BIC Tournament Rules
This is a wood bat showcase
2 hour time limit
High School Federation rules
Each team will have a 45 minute pro-style workout on day1. In this 45 minute, teams will be allowed to hit batting practice and I/O on the field. Please check the schedule to verify your Saturday morning times.
All games will be no more than 7 innings
Teams are allow to bat 10-11 players (EH and EX)
Free subs as long as the batting order stays the same.
Teams should always arrive 1 hour before games. If games end early, games may be started ahead of schedule!
Courtesy Runners for Pitchers and Catchers allowed for speed up rules. (Runners must not currently be in the lineup, but they can enter the game at a later point. If a team has no subs, the last recorded out (non pitcher or catcher) can be a courtesy runner.
Players or Coaches ejected from a game are automatically be SUSPENDED for the next game.
***Mercy Rule- 15 after 3 innings, 12 after 4 innings, 10 after 5 innings
EACH TEAM IS REQUIRED TO PROVIDE THEIR OWN BASEBALLS
***Mercy rules: If a team is run ruled, we go straight to roll over innings. Pitcher will face 4 hitters and the inning will role from there. We are doing this to insure all arms throw on the weekend and all position guys get their PT and AB's. It will all work inside whatever time limit is set for the games.
